DESCRIPTION
This video explains how to perform a high-quality, systematic lesion assessment in the lower gastrointestinal tract. It focuses on identifying the endoscopic features of overt cancer as well as the risk factors for covert cancer within colorectal lesions. Four case examples are presented to demonstrate the correct application of the lesion assessment strategy, with endoscopy–histology correlation. With a series of videos, we explain the differences between covert and overt cancer of the ampulla, and the decision making process in choosing right modality of treatment for these lesions.
